Remarks: Beautiful belemnite from the Plate limestone from the scientific Nusplingen excavation site. The piece is a remains of food from a larger predator (fish, ichtyosaur...). The belemnite was bitten into pieces and then sank to the ground, where the two pieces were embedded separately. Great piece of evidence!. Good change to get one of those as fossils from Nusplingen are not common on the market.
