Remarks: A very fine specimen of Zamites from the French Plattenkalk (lithographic limestone). Zamites is a plant belonging to the cycads (Cycadatae). This specific type is found only in the Plattenkalk deposits of Brunn, Bavaria. There is an additional plant remain on the back of the slab. A fantastic specimen!
